Pieces of self trilogy first part: Bus Stop (2014-2015)

In the series “Bus Stop” photographed in analog medium format, two approaches were combined: self-portrait and impressions of bus stops. The latter trigger a whole range of associations and emotions and stand symbolically for arriving, saying goodbye, waiting, taking time out, pausing, change.
Conceptually not originally intended in this way, the series also represents an analog counterpoint to the current digital selfie wave with smartphones.
